8. What type of filament should I use?

When you begin tinkering with the 3D print technology, the best bet is PLA filaments. Few of the advantages are:
- It is easy to print
- Melts at 200-degree Celsius
- Does need only about 50-degree Celsius on the hotbed
- Does not produce any harmful fumes, dust or smell
- Less affected by humidity
- Prints are strong
- Bio-degradable
However, if you need the print to be exposed to a hot environment, this is not the choice.
